Buying a residential or investment property in a market that one is unfamiliar with can be a daunting thought and so it was with us when we first decided we would like to live in Penang. We have bought and sold properties in our home country on many occasions, and usually once the salesperson has got our signature on the contract that is the end of the contact, not so with you. When we came back to Penang to take possession of our apartment you were still there to help us do the basics like get the water, power and telephone connected. You provided us with contacts to help decorate and renovate our apartment and even someone to help set up the satellite and wifi facilities.
